ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH
Founded in 1926, Assumption Catholic Church in East Los Angeles is an established place to worship for the Catholic sect of Christianity. A full-service Catholic church with a school, a hall, and regular services, it is located conveniently near the 5, 10, 60, and 710 freeways. When in East Los Angeles, please stop by to find out about upcoming family events. There are many fun things to do in and around East Los Angeles, especially around the holidays. This particular church is popular enough to even attract members who have been baptized into the Christian faith.
HOW TO MAKE HOLY WATER
To use holy water, first add three pinches of iodized salt to water and bless it in the following manner:
hold your right hand over the salt water, place your left hand on top of your right hand and envision the White Light of Christ coming from above, flowing through both of your hands, empowering the Water, as you say, I PURIFY, SANCTIFY AND MAKE HOLY THIS WATER, AND EMPOWER IT AGAINST ALL EVIL, IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. AMEN.

Home-made holy water should not been seen as a replacement for church-made holy water. I use them both. Based upon research I have done, the strength of home-made holy water varies based upon how much time is spent praying over it and also the number of people that expect it to work.
I suggest that it if normal church-made holy water is available, to use the church-made holy water as the primary water, and use the home-made holy water as the secondary water. For example, use the church water on Sunday, and the home-made water during the week.
It is important to know how to bless the water like this if your church does not have drinkable holy water and you prefer the deep-cleansing that drinking holy water brings.

SWAP MEET AT CHURCH EVERY FRIDAY
Every Friday at Assumption Church in East Los Angeles, there is a swap meet from 7AM - 2PM in the parking lot.
Enjoy these things:
- Good bargains.
- Delicious food for purchase.
- Live music.
- For the needy, the food assistance program hands out food.
Note:
I went there the other day and bought 20 movies for $20, a great deal! Also, I had a tortita de camaron (it was kind of like a shrimp cake) with mole sauce, and as you know mole contains chocolate. Very tasty indeed. Hats off to the vendor that sold me this wonderful dish.
